Antenna Gimbal System (AGS)
The AGS is an aircraft-mounted 3-axis gimbal for Ka-band antenna pointing. The gimbal has been operating successfully on a research aircraft since 2018.
I led the development of the gimbal from initial concepts through design, fabrication, assembly, testing and delivery. I designed the primary structure and waveguide system, as well as the majority of ground support equipment for testing.
