Ranger

The Ranger family of robots was developed at the University of Maryland to study satellite servicing. Various iterations have existed over the years, and they continue to be used as research platforms in the Space Systems Lab.

I participated in the Ranger project during my master’s studies at the University of Maryland as a support diver. This included helping prepare the robot for test dives, assisting during buoyancy and leak checks, cable management, and safety.
